2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to serve you:

Order & enquiry details — your name, email address and telephone number, submitted through our order form or contact form.
Message content — anything you choose to tell us in a message.
Technical data — limited information stored locally in your browser (such as the contents of your bag) and, if enabled, aggregated analytics. See our Cookies Policy.

We do not collect payment card data on this website. Payment and delivery are arranged with you directly after we confirm your order.

3. How we use your data

To respond to your enquiries and confirm and fulfil your orders;
To arrange delivery, guarantees and after-sales care;
To send our newsletter, where you have asked us to;
To keep our website secure and to improve it.

4. Legal bases

We process your data on the basis of: the performance of a contract (handling your order); your consent (newsletter and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); and our legitimate interest in running and securing our business.

We never sell your data. We share it only with the service providers who help us operate — for example a delivery carrier or an email provider — and only to the extent needed. These providers act on our instructions. Where a provider is located outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry messages are kept for up to 3 years from our last contact. Order records are kept for the legal accounting period (up to 10 years). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Local browser data (your bag) stays on your device until you clear it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may, at any time, request: access to your data; rectification or erasure; restriction of or objection to processing; and portability. You may also withdraw consent and set instructions for the fate of your data after death. To exercise any right, email hello@maisonquiroz.fr. If you feel your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No website can be perfectly secure, but we take this responsibility seriously.
